Most of our sellers don't start from scratch. They've already posted their item on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or OfferUp. We don't replace that listing. We complete it. You keep your original listing and add a link that sends serious buyers to our secure checkout. We handle everything from there: the payment hold, the courier dispatch, the pickup verification, and the delivery.
The Facebook link problem: Facebook Marketplace doesn't allow clickable external links in listing descriptions, and may hide, flag, or reduce the reach of a listing that has one. So we're building three tools to share your listing safely on any marketplace:
A short, typeable URL (like mktc.co/abc123) you paste into your listing description as plain text. Best for text-based listings.
A branded QR code image you add as the last photo in your listing. Buyers scan it with their phone camera. Best for visual listings.
A personal page (mktc.co/seller/yourname) showing all your active items. Put it in your profile bio. Best for sellers with multiple items.

On your seller dashboard, paste the URL of your Facebook Marketplace (or Craigslist, or OfferUp, or eBay) listing. You'll then confirm and fill in the details our system needs:
We ask for dimensions and weight so our system can match your item with the right vehicle and courier. Skipping this can delay or decline your listing.
Choose a short link, a QR code, or a link-in-bio page and add it to your Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or OfferUp listing. Your listing becomes discoverable by buyers outside our platform, in addition to buyers browsing our marketplace directly.
Tell us when you're available for pickup: recurring weekly windows (e.g. "Every Tuesday 2 to 6 PM"), specific dates, or Available Now for same-day, on-demand pickups. Your default lead time is 3 days. Buyers can't book sooner than that unless you change it. Buyers see your available windows at checkout and pick one.
You don't do anything yet. You get a notification. The buyer pays through secure checkout, their payment is placed on a hold, we check their pickup window against your availability, and a gig is posted to our courier network.
What you get
An email and SMS with the pickup window, the buyer's city (not their address), and the courier's name once assigned. On Tier 3 and above, we handle buyer communication for you.
Have the item ready during the pickup window. The courier arrives, takes 3 to 4 photos before loading, completes a condition checklist, and asks you to sign digitally confirming "Item is true and correct." Don't sign if something is off. If you've changed your mind, tell the courier before they load and the item stays with you, no harm done.
The courier transports the item and starts the buyer's inspection window. If the buyer accepts: the courier delivers, the payment hold releases, and your payout lands in your platform wallet. Withdraw via ACH (free, 2 to 3 days) or Instant Pay (2.5% fee, capped at $2.50).
If the buyer rejects a misrepresented or undisclosed-damage item, you're charged a reposting fee plus delivery and platform fees, and the item stays with you. If the rejection is invalid (buyer's remorse), you keep nothing because the item never left, and the buyer forfeits their platform and delivery fees. Full details are in the Seller Agreement.
Jane listed a vintage walnut dresser on Facebook Marketplace. She got 12 messages, 3 no-shows, and 2 lowball offers before switching to Marketplace Couriers.
Total time from listing to payout: up to 7 days (includes the 3-day lead time, often 2 to 3 days if the buyer chooses an earlier on-demand window). Total effort from Jane: ~15 minutes.
